Hey there so I thought I’d suggest some spooky season movies that I personally really enjoyed!

Now these aren’t exactly horror movies more like horror movies-light edition! You ever wanna watch something resembling a horror movie without getting scared? No? Just me then…haha!

Some of these are more popular than others but maybe you haven’t seen all of them yet or forgot you wanted to see one at some point ( I do that all the time) 😊 okay here’s my list!

🧛 What happens in the Shadows ( currently on Hulu/Disney)- it’s a mockumentary about Vampires and full of top tier laughs! It’s one of my favorite not so serious spooky movies!

🫦 Jennifer’s Body ( currently on Peacock)- Okay maybe I’m just a sucker for Megan Fox but this has a serious cult following for good reason. I would let her eat me for sure 😅

🏚️ Cabin in the Woods(Peacock)- this is a different take on a lot of classic horror movie troupe like almost making fun of them in a clever way but it’s kinda silly and has some unexpected twists!

🐌 Slither ( Peacock)- so this one is half super gross horror movie and half lighthearted! Great cast and I sincerely hope this type of alien never comes to earth!

🧟‍♂️ Shaun of the Dead ( Peacock agian)- like zombies but make it absolutely hilarious! I know this is a popular take but it’s pretty dang good!

💎 Urban Legends ( HBO Max)- this is my hidden gem choice and probably the closest to an actual scary movie on my list but still pretty light for watching people get ended in all sorts of ways! Interesting and semi easy going for this category! Some 90s nostalgia!
