Here’s how you can include more celery in your diet:
💚Drink celery juice!
It’s best to drink in the morning on an empty stomach, to help reduce any inflammation in your gut.
It’s simple to make at home:
Using a juicer is the easiest way to make it. Simply wash 3–4 celery stalks and run them through the juicer.
If you don’t have a juicer, cut 3–4 washed celery stalks and blend them until smooth. Place a strainer or mesh cloth over a wide-rimmed jug, pour the liquid into the strainer, and press down to extract all the juice.
For an extra bit of flavour, try adding green apples, fresh ginger, cucumber, fresh mint, or lemon juice.
💚You can even add a few celery stalks to your smoothies!
💚You can also buy celery juice from many grocery stores, but stay away from the ones with added sugar.
💚Eat them as a snack!
Wash and cut 3-4 celery stalks and eat them with almond butter, or my fave, peanut butter, or dip them in your favourite hummus or tzatziki mmmm…
💚Chop up a few stalks and put them in fresh salads.
💚Cook with celery when you make soups and stews.
