I felled two big trees and my friend who came over to help me felled four other big trees. I haven’t used a chainsaw since back when I was a firefighter and even then, I hated it and would defer chainsaw tasks to one of the more experienced sawyers on my crew. I actually felt way more confident with it this time than I ever remember last time and that made me really happy. Honestly I think I’ve just seen too many horrible chainsaw accidents and done too many chainsaw safety classes for work that I know the harsh convenience of messing up all too well.
