I’ve been wanting to do a vegan story time video for a while. And even though I filmed this a few weeks ago, I hesitated to post it because I’m worried that I’m a little too much “myself.”
I’ve been called “extreme” and “radical” my whole life. Even by family members. But honestly, that never phased me. It may seem strange because I have a lot of social anxiety and just anxiety in general. But when your empathy and values are strong, no one can make you falter.
As I said in this video, the purpose is not to try to “make” you go vegan. I didn’t even intend it as an educational piece (although I did get sidetracked on some tangents). The purpose of this video is just to share more of who I am. And this is truly who I am. I have always cared about animals and this earth. It’s not just ours because even though we love to take ownership of everything, this planet belongs to everyone who calls it home.

I just realized that it’s been a long time since I’ve made a stretching video. And I need to stretch more! Do you ever feel like life is so hard to balance? There’s so much to juggle all the time, and especially when you work for yourself out of your home, it’s just so easy for work to take over everything.
I have been going to therapy and working on myself for six years. I’m proud of myself for that, because I think a lot of younger people aren’t willing to put in the work. But I’m also realizing that I need to focus on building more healthy habits. I already have a great habit of working out several times a week. But I could add in more like stretching and bedtime hygiene (going to bed at the same time, and getting off screens etc).
What healthy habit are you trying to add to your life? Let’s hold each other accountable! 😁

Well then I shouldn’t have exited my house through the side door and disturbed the wasp nest residing there. My legs and feet are covered in red ants biting the hell out of me? Well then I should have looked where I was walking and not stepped on the hill they worked so hard to build. Why must we take ownership of everything? In most cases the creatures were there first. And it’s their home. Call me crazy if you want, but that’s how I feel. I’m different, and that’s okay. There’s nothing wrong with being different. Don’t do what everyone else is doing just because everyone else is doing it. It’s good to question things. It’s good to take the trail less traveled 💚
