**LIFE UPDATE-- This is a big announcement, but I think it is important to state.**

In many regards, OF has been a dream come true - it allows me a lot of autonomy, fulfilling conversation, connection, and the ability to express & explore my abundant sexuality. I am forever grateful for the time I have spent on the platform, and continue to believe I have the best fanbase of all time <3

As much as I enjoy creating and connecting with you ~here~, being successful on OF requires you to be continually active on social media, which I feel is a direct challenge to my values of living presently, genuineness, and connection.

I really struggle with the direction social media has taken recently. It is now necessary to create video content like tiktoks/reels, live streaming, vlogs, and stories very consistently to stay relevant. As social media grows increasingly competitive, it takes more dedication than ever to garner a dedicated fanbase (the attention economy is real!!). In the music space, it is also expected to create content DURING the events.

When I started posting on social media, it was a fun hobby I used to express myself, show off my rave outfits, grow my confidence, attract new friends and genuinely allowed me to create a community within the EDM scene, which I couldn't be thankful enough for. I just feel like the space has changed so much since I started doing this many moons ago.

At this point, I really want to live more of my life off my phone, off screens, and with people IRL, living in the moment... ~practicing Immediacy~.

In general, the superficial & ego-driven nature of social media has started to give me the "ick", and I don't feel like it's somewhere I want to spend my time on (consuming or creating). I have begun to resent being around other creators or models because they are frequently on their phones too, which is just the nature of the game, but it leaves me feeling lonely and alienated from my peers.

This mismatch in alignment with my core values has made me deeply think about what I want to pursue long-term. I have a number of ideas in mind, specifically some app ideas I'm looking to develop -- I'm excited to dive deeper and learn more about this and welcome any advice about app / web dev / design.

With this being said, I am not planning on quitting OF right now, but know this is not forever for me... I genuinely love creating content here (as I have a lil exhibitionist kink hehe) I just know I am someone who needs to be challenged and always learning things to stay engaged. SO I wanted to let you know that I am thinking about my next steps here.
