Ah, dark roast coffee! The brooding bad boy of the coffee world. He's bold and intense, with a hint of bitterness that'll make your taste buds stand up and take notice. But don't worry, he's got a softer side too - notes of chocolate and caramel that'll make you swoon. He's like that bad boy with a heart of gold - irresistible!
You prefer light or dark roasts?

Coffee is actually a fruit! The coffee bean that we use to make coffee is the seed of a small, red or purple fruit called a coffee cherry. Each cherry typically contains two coffee beans. These cherries grow on coffee trees, which are cultivated in over 70 countries around the world. So, when you're sipping on your cup of coffee, you're essentially enjoying a beverage made from the seed of a fruit.

Did you know that coffee was originally discovered in Ethiopia? Legend has it that a goat herder named Kaldi noticed his goats becoming energetic and lively after eating berries from a certain tree. Curious, he tried the berries himself and experienced a similar stimulating effect. This discovery eventually led to the cultivation and widespread popularity of coffee around the world! Thanks goats! 🐐 🐐

Soooo i have a confession to make. My favorite part about summertime is going to festivals and ordering Chicken on a Stick.
Chicken on a stick? Oh, cluck yes! It's the ultimate festival treat that'll have you doing the chicken dance with glee. Skewered, seasoned, and sizzled to perfection, these tasty morsels are a peck above the rest. Whether grilled or fried, they're finger-lickin' good and perfect for munchin' on the go. So, flock to the nearest food stall, grab a stick, and let the flavor ruffle your feathers. It's a clucking good time!

Happy Saturday babes!
So, do we fuel up on caffeine on the weekends as well? Or keep it a weekday thing for work? Let me know in the comments :)
Personally I dabble in both, but as being someone who’s been in the coffee industry for 13 years, I’m a lil biased ;)

Here’s a double-sized Turkish coffee I enjoyed in Alaçatı, Turkey (that’s a whole lotta caffeine!).
Turkish coffee is always served with a glass of water and a small treat, like Turkish delight, chocolate, or a cookie. The water is to wash down some of the coffee grounds that you may sip (normal and a part of the experience!), and the treat is there to offset the strong brew. Plus we all deserve a lil treat 😁🫶🏻 Swipe to see the narrow walkways full of coffee shops and restaurants in Alaçatı!
